Samyukta – Odissi Vilas school dance recital (Chabot College, August, 2019)

Our Odissi school put together a school recital Samyukta – an Ode to Odissi Sacred Temple Dance in August at Chabot College theatre. Our teacher Shri Vishnu Tattva Das and the students of Odissi Vilas performed, and we were honored to have guest musicians from Odisha, India to accompany us on this special event (http://odissimusic.org/). It was a memorable evening of performances.

I shared the stage with my dance teacher and Guru, Shri Vishnu Tattva Das and Manasi, a fellow elegant and vibrant dancer. From rehearsal to performing on stage, it was a delightful and deeply comforting experience. Due to copyright issues, I cannot share the video currently. But I have attached some stills from the performance instead.
