Rageshree – San Francisco Human Services Agency, San Francisco, CA, May 2024

A special duet performance of the Rageshree piece we learnt in Sep 2023 from the Rudrakshya Foundation. Maureen and I were still focussed on perfecting the dance item and shelved all possible choreographies for a future date. In the mean time though, this was the most intimate stage space I have performed as yet. By that I mean it was a tiny stage, but the crowd more than made up for the limited stage size, were in awe of our performance and gave us the loudest applause at the end of the performance. It is always a delight to bring Odissi to new spaces and share with new audience members.
